Basil Lyberg, Executive Director
Basil’s career in non-profit management has always had three common elements: fundraising, cycling and program expansion. He comes to 24 Hours of Booty after nine years with Push America where Basil served in a variety of roles including event recruitment, program management, logistics and financial development. Basil was named a “Rising Star” by FundRaising Success magazine and Distinguish Young Alumni by his alma mater. Basil participated in the 2007 event and joined the event committee before joining staff in 2009. A graduate of Central Michigan University, Basil resides in Charlotte, N.C. with his wife and two children, Emma and Luke.
Janet Ervin, Marketing Director
Janet is a Statesville, NC native and cum laude graduate from Appalachian State University. Janet comes to 24 Hours of Booty from the MS Society where she served as development manager. There she led their walks program to record fundraising and participation numbers while working to consolidate the program. She is well versed in grassroots recruitment and fundraising tactics to achieve the organizational fundraising goals.
Plum Whitney, Operations Director
Plum Whitney is a long time volunteer, turned Director of Operations. Since 2007, Plum has played a key role in food and beverage operations, streamlining operations procedures and serving on the Booty Organizing Committee in Charlotte. Her background is in event operations and hospitality, including time with five-star hotels, restaurants and cruise ships. A native of England, Plum now resides in Charlotte with her husband and two children.
Amanda Hinkebein, Recruitment Director
Amanda leads the recruitment efforts in all expansion cities working with corporate and grassroots efforts. Amanda is a Charlotte native and graduate from the University of Tennessee where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism. Amanda’s background is in sales where she has led efforts with American Greetings and Clear Channel Radio. After living in Australia and Tennessee, Amanda returned to Charlotte, where she lives with her fiance.
Jamie Orr, Office Coordinator
Jamie keeps the 24 Hours of Booty office organized and helps process all the donations. She is a Charlotte native who graduated from Clemson University, where she earned a degree in healthcare management. She has worked for Bon Secours St. Francis Healthcare System as a program coordinator and then as a manager with Clemson University's Expanded Food and Nutrition program in Greenville, SC before moving back to Charlotte with her husband.
Karen Hallion, Staff Accountant
Karen is a Rhode Island native, and moved to Charlotte with her husband in 2006. She is a graduate of Rhode Island College, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts degree. Prior to coming to 24 Hours of Booty, Karen was employed by KPMG as a fiduciary tax accountant. She specialized in trust and estate accounting. She is currently enrolled at Queens University obtaining her Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design.
