Basil Lyberg, Executive Director
Basil’s career in non-profit management has always had three common elements: fundraising, cycling and program expansion. He comes to 24 Hours of Booty after nine years with Push America where Basil served in a variety of roles including event recruitment, program management, logistics and financial development. Basil was named a “Rising Star” by FundRaising Success magazine and Distinguish Young Alumni by his alma mater. Basil participated in the 2007 event and joined the event committee before joining staff in 2009. A graduate of Central Michigan University, Basil resides in Charlotte, N.C. with his wife and two children, Emma and Luke.
Janet Ervin, Marketing Director
Janet is a Statesville, NC native and cum laude graduate from Appalachian State University. Janet comes to 24 Hours of Booty from the MS Society where she served as development manager. There she led their walks program to record fundraising and participation numbers while working to consolidate the program. She is well versed in grassroots recruitment and fundraising tactics to achieve the organizational fundraising goals.
Amanda Meyers, Recruitment Director
Amanda leads the recruitment efforts in all expansion cities working with corporate and grassroots efforts. Amanda is a Charlotte native and graduate from the University of Tennessee where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism. Amanda’s background is in sales where she has led efforts with American Greetings and Clear Channel Radio. After living in Australia and Tennessee, Amanda returned to Charlotte, where she lives with her husband.
Heather Sackett, Communications Manager
Heather joined 24 Hours of Booty after participating in the 2013 Summer Internship program. She graduated summa cum laude from Lenoir-Rhyne University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mutlimedia Journalism and Public Relations. Heather recently earned her Masters degree in Communication Studies from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Heather oversees administrative and communication functions, which include customer service, volunteer coordination, gift processing, and campaign execution.
