Marketing and Recruitment Intern- Indianapolis, IN

The Marketing and Recruitment Intern will help coordinate and execute grassroots marketing and outreach plan focused on Indianapolis rider recruitment.  The position requires a positive attitude, ability to work independently and as a team, and proven research skills.  Must be comfortable on the phone, speaking publically about the event and willing to attend rider recruitment events. Internship will be done remotely from February-April, 2014.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Distribute marketing materials to local businesses and inform about event. 
  • Designate times, locations and run informational booths on college campuses and near exercise loops in town. 
  • Create 24 Hours of Booty recruitment lead sheet and execute outreach. 
  • Analyze registration data.

Qualifications:                                                                                                    

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Education/Experience:

This is an intensive, paid internship, so a rising senior or graduate student with previous internship experience is preferred.  Must be motivated and able to work independently. Minimum of 20 hours a week.
