Making a DifferenceHow 24 Hours of Booty is making a difference - and who benefits While cycling is nice - and taking part in the nation's only 24-hour charity road ride is even better - 24 Hours of Booty is really about making a difference. 24 Hours of Booty serves its mission by providing an extraordinary cycling event that is safe, fun and open to all levels of cycling ability, while simultaneously bringing cancer awareness to the community and raising much-needed funds for noteworthy cancer charities. Since its inception in 2002, 24 Hours of Booty has raised more than $1 million for cancer charities. That adds up to a lot of impactful change for the cancer community. Here are the local and national cancer charities that 24 Hours of Booty will provide funds to in 2009: The Lance Armstrong Foundation (LAF) The Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults (UCF) The Brain Tumor Fund for the Carolinas The Keep Pounding Fund
