Fundraising

Are you ready to start fundraising?  Need some new ideas to help you get started?  We can help!  Here's a few tips to get you on the right track.  Check the links to the left for more specific ideas to use in your neighborhood, office, or place of worship!

  1. Set up your online fundraising - Once you register, you are automatically given your own fundraising account and web page so people can donate directly to you online!  Login to the Ride Center to easily customize your page with photos, your story and your fundraising goals.
  2. Tell your story.  The personal side of why you ride and raise money will always be compelling to people you know.
  3. Start early.  The earlier you start, the less stressful it will be.  And who knows?  You may surprise yourself at your own success!
  4. Make it easy.  Make sure everyone has a direct link to your fundraising page or give them a self-addressed, stamped envelope.
  5. Write an “ask list.”  And don’t be selective – ask everyone you can think of.  You’ll be surprised where some of your donations come from.
