Cancer never gives up...neither will I

I can't express how grateful I am to be able to raise money for the BEST cancer charity in the U.S....; 24 Hours of Booty!!  That is me getting ready to start the 2012 ride with 1,200 of my closest friends: fellow cancer survivors, family members, and people who really want to help survivors.

As always, I prep for, participate in and fundraise for this ride in LOVING memory of my Mom.  There is not a day that goes by that I don't miss her!  I do this to honor the fantastic woman she was...even though she ran out of time way too early! I ride in honor of my Father who battles with skin cancer. I ride to honor survivors!!!

Cancer is a difficult and persistent foe and I have learned that more so over the past year then ever before.  I thought my stint with non melanomo skin cancer was over this time last year....much to my chagrin it keeps coming back.  2012 rolled in to 2013 and my visit to the dermatolgist resulted in more pre-cancerous cells all over my left arm.  So, this year as I prep for this ride you will see me wearing sun sleeves...yes even in 90+ degree weather.  My mission this year, get in front of as many high school students as possible and talk to them about skin cancer.

How can you help?  You can help by supporting me in this year's ride.  My goal is at least $5,000 this year.

REMEBER; if you work for a company that offers matching funds please print off the matching funds paperwork and submit it with your donation.  Every dollar raised is another dollar that will benefit cancer research, advocacy, and support!

Thanks for visiting this online donation page and making a donation supporting me in this year's 24 Hours of Booty.
